FK-5-1-12 fire extinguishing agent is a colorless, odorless and non-electrical conducting gaseous fire suppression agent, used in scenarios where water-based fire suppression (for example, from a foam system) would be impractical or where it coud damage expensive equipments or property, such as museums, server rooms, banks, clean rooms and hospitals.
It is stored as a liquid under pressure and is discharged as a gas, during this transition called vaporization, it rapidly absorbs heat energy, expands quickly to displace oxygen.

Can be installed in several compartments .
Detects and extinguish only in the compartment that triggered the thermo-pneumatic detector.
RN single nozzles (RN4, RN5, RN6) and RN dual nozzles (RN5*2, RN6*2) are available
Different nozzles are compatible with different specifications of fire suppression systems:
RN4 – 3L
RN5 – 4L
RN5*2 – 6L
RN6 – 10L
RN6*2 – 20L
Completely made of stainless steel
Ensure that the fire suppression agent (FK-5-1-12) spreads rapidly throughout the entire area
Working temperature -30℃ up to80℃
The installation of the nozzle must ensure that the entire protected area is evenly covered with the fire extinguishing agent.
Since FK-5-1-12 is much heavier than air in the gaseous state, it is particularly suitable for installation at a higher position within the electrical cabinet.
HOW IT WORKS
When discharged, FK-5-1-12 rapidly absorbs heat from the fire. This helps to cool the surrounding air and surfaces, reducing the temperature below the ignition point of the fuel.
FK-5-1-12 is a gas when released and quickly expands to fill the protected space. By doing so, it displaces oxygen in the vicinity of the fire. The reduction in oxygen concentration inhibits the combustion process, as fire requires a certain level of oxygen to sustain itself.
