Ownership Unique Advantages:

Fine Spray - Realiable and Effective
Patented German Technology

Applicable for extremely cold situation of -50°C.

No pressure

No electricity

Almost maintenance-free

Ultrafast detection & extinguishing

No parts need tobe replaced for up to 5 years

Simple & Easy to install

Raptor detex ice-master offers improved fire suppression capabilities with a booster operating in the temperature range of -50°C.

When the cylinder is triggered, the rising pressure in the pipeline opens the booster. All of the gas enters into the cylinder to provide additional injection power for the cylinder.

Ultra-low temperature fire extinguishing agent + fine spray = better suppression effect at lower temperature

The extinguishing agent rapidly cools the fire below ignition levels in seconds.

-50ºc up to 80ºc

No Electricity

Ultra-Fast

Low Maintenance

No Pressure

Single-line system

TiboRex® Absolute
Special Liquid Extinguish Agent

TiboRex Absolute is a ready-to-use liquid special extinguishing agent without the addition of fluorochemicals for the highly effective extinguishing of solid fires (fire class A), liquids, non-polar hydrocarbons (fire class B) and edible fats and oils. The special formulation, whose main components are also used as food additives, guarantees exceptional extinguishing performance with unprecedented environmental protection.

Functions and mode of operation

What are the features of the fire-suppression system?

The fire suppression system is based on the principle of fine spray with rapid cooling technology. The patent nozzles spray the extinguishing agent DracoRex as very fine droplets. Through reflections and turbulence, the extinguishing agent also reaches adjacent areas, which enables the entire protected area to be protected. The service life of extinguishing agent containers (excluding fire extinguishing agents) is up to 10 years and easy to maintain. Once activated, they will need to be promptly returned to the factory for servicing or replacement to ensure that the fire extinguishing system can be operated again.

How does fire detection work?

Protecfire uses thermos-pneumatic SPY fire detection elements to detect fire. These elements only activate the fire suppression system if a specified temperature is exceeded. Failure due to the failure of electrical components does not affect the normal start of the fire suppression system. Fire detection elements with different activate temperatures can be used because the protected area is not a thermally homogeneous area, but contains different temperature zones.

What status indications are present on the fire suppression system?

Protecfire RAPTOR detex 5062 fire suppression system is pressurized in the extinguishing container when it is in standby mode. For this reason, it is necessary to monitor the container pressure by observing the pressure gauge.

Can the system shut down the equipment in the event of a fire?

Yes. RAPTOR detex 5062 fire suppression system includes a linkage function – alarm and delayed shut down equipment or vehicle engine. When there is fire, the fire suppression system is activated, pressure switch works at the same time to generate signal to the alarm to indicate the fire suppression system is being activated. The control panel does not shut the equipment or vehicle engine down immediately, but delay for a period of approximately 20 seconds. This provides the operator with enough time to attend to other related equipment or guide the vehicle to a safe location.

Control Panel and Pressure Switch must be installed for these additional optional operations. In addition, the devices that are to be switched off or on must be properly connected to the control panel. The system operates independently to other electrically operated components. Power for the pressure switch is supplied via the connection to the electrical system on the equipment.

Other features
  • No external power supply is required: Protecfire fire suppression systems operate pneumatically – mechanically. This means that they do not require any additional power supply.
  • No pressure in the pipeline: The fire suppression system is unpressurized in the pipeline until it is activated.
  • Ease of Maintenance: Major components are needed to replace up to 10 years period.
  • Automatic and / or manual activation / or remote activation: Automatic activated by SPY fire detection elements. The fire suppression system can also be activated by pneumatic manual actuator, or remotely activated by E-SPY electric manual actuator (optional).
What happens in the event of a fire?

RAPTOR detex 5062 fire suppression system consists of extinguishing agent container which is filled with extinguishing agent, pneumatic manual actuator, SPY fire detection element, nozzle, control line and extinguishing line and other optional parts. When a fire detection element is heated to its activation temperature, a mechanism opens the built-in argon propellant gas cartridge. This causes an increase in pressure in the control line. The pressure control valve in the extinguishing agent container will open to release the extinguishing agent through the line to the nozzles, completes fire suppression process. If the fire temperature does not reach its activation temperature, the fire suppression system can be activated by operating the pneumatic manual actuator. If the E-SPY electric manual actuator has been installed, the fire suppression system can be activated by remote electrical signal.
